Lavender Row Rental Cottage in Darley Abbey

Darley Abbey is a quaint historic mill village 1.4 miles north of Derby City Centre. The settlement was originally an Augustinian monastery in the medieval era, later becoming an industrial mill village in the 18th century. The village is now part of Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and has winding country roads and old buildings.

Within Darley Abbey you will find Lavender Row, which is a Georgian terrace originally built for mill workers to live close to the mill with their families. The buildings are Grade II listed and have charming features. We have renovated 10 Lavender Row to offer a cosy 2-bedroom holiday home with a fully equipped kitchen, garden and flat screen TV.

This property is perfect for anyone who needs to be close to Derby City Centre but would like the quiet and calming setting of an old English village.
